About Arctics Knives
Photographer and knife maker who works in Lofoten in Norway and the High Coast in Sweden.
Our story
Nature inspires me as a filmmaker and photographer. Even as a little boy I was fascinated by wood as a material and the knife was my favorite tool. It started with bark boats.
Later I started carving different objects. And finally I wanted to make my own tools. That’s how I started making knives.
I arrange workshops where i’m training filmmakers and photographers in Lofoten, the arctic part of Norway. And I live half the year in Norway and the other half in the High Coast in Sweden, a place that is on the UNESCO’s world heritage list for its unique nature.
